According to the VChK-OGPU and Rucriminal.info, Russia has significantly increased security for fugitive Ukrainian politicians. They are now surrounded by GRU officers.

According to a source, in particular, security for Andriy Derkach, a former member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, was strengthened at the direction of Vladimir Petrov, head of the GRU’s Internal Security Directorate. He is now accompanied by GRU officers everywhere. The project’s source does not know the reason for this, but it appears to be related to information from the intelligence services.

It is noteworthy that after the assassination attempts on Generals Titov (deputy head of the FSB’s Fifth Service) and Alekseyev (deputy head of the GRU), it was decided not to change the security procedures for the Russian generals.
