The construction firm Kronung, linked to the transfer of funds from Russian banks, has connections to Sergey Chemezov’s son.

About the Kronung Group, proudly calling itself a developer, there is a lot of negative coverage online. The group, owned by Filipp Shrage and Ignatiy Nayda, operates using funds from Russian banks, which it receives secured by its own companies. This is a typical story for structures closely tied to the Russian authorities.

LLC Kronung was established only in 2021 and essentially acts as a “front” for more serious market players. It is known that Ignatiy Nayda served as an advisor from 2013 to 2017 to Arkadiy Skorov, founder of the company Dalpiterstroy and shareholder of Rostfinance Bank.

Unlike Shrage and Nayda, Skorov is a significant player in the St. Petersburg construction market. In 2024, his companies reported revenue of 4.8 billion rubles and a profit of 645 million rubles. In 2023, LLC SK Dalpiterstroy had revenue of 1.7 billion rubles and a profit of 9.2 million rubles, while LLC Dalpiterstroy reported revenue of 1.3 billion rubles and a profit of 4.3 million rubles. Figures like these are far beyond what Shrage and Nayda can dream of.

In Ignatiy Nayda’s biography, 2017 is highlighted as the year he became CEO of LLC Skvortsy. This can probably be considered a career achievement for Nayda.

LLC Skvortsy was founded by Anton Dushkevich in 2016. Over the past two years, the company has reported no revenue or profit. It currently has only one employee on record, raising suspicions about LLC Skvortsy’s possible use as a shadow entity.

Before 2011, Anton Dushkevich, together with Petr Vershkov, owned LLC Eterna. Vershkov is now the head of JSC Standartcement and LLC Genpodryadgroup. In the latter company, Stanislav Chemezov, son of Rostec head Sergey Chemezov, is a co-founder.

In LLC Interbusinessgroup, Stanislav Chemezov owns 99% of the company. Until 2021, the company was a shareholder of JSC Standartcement.

Filipp Shrage has worked in the construction company Grafit since 2013 and is currently CEO of LLC Specialized Developer “Grafit”, which is owned by Artem Dushkevich, whose stake is pledged to the bank Dom.RF. Over the past two years, LLC Specialized Developer “Grafit” has effectively generated no revenue or profit. However, in 2023, Dom.RF provided funds to this shell company, which has only one employee on staff.

Judging by their patronymic, Anton and Artem Dushkevich are brothers. Their father, Anatoly Dushkevich, headed the now-defunct Kap-Go Stroit-Va Enterprise Grafit JSC, which was liquidated in 2012. The Grafit group of companies had been operating in the market since 1991.

The influence of Anatoly Dushkevich in Saint Petersburg is evidenced by publicly available information showing that he headed the Main Directorate of Olympic Construction. Dushkevich was likely well connected with the city’s elite, as well as with Arkady Skorov, owner of Dalpiterstroy.

The two respected “old-school” builders apparently decided to create a modern new project – the Kronung Group of Companies – combining the talents of Filipp Shrage and Ignatiy Nayda. However, they operate under the supervision of the Dushkevich brothers, who are connected to Stanislav Chemezov.

The Kronung Group quickly developed a reputation, claiming to build in Spain and worldwide, though a review of Western press sources shows no mentions of Shrage and Nayda’s venture. It is possible they quietly build villas for the Russian elite, potentially using the projects to launder money.

In 2024, the Kronung Group issued 500 million rubles in bonds via a private placement, which reportedly surprised market participants.

The Kronung Group does indeed have Kronung Real Estate, based in Dubai, which is claimed to have experience working in Russia, Spain, Mexico, and the UAE. However, when discussing the company’s plans for 2025, its executives strangely made no mention of any overseas projects.
